Science Fair Schedule (updated 12-1-19)
- December 2nd ---Begin brainstorming ideas for topics
- December 5-6th--Begin looking at topics (Final topic due December 13th).
- December 9th-13th---Bring in money for science fair board and title board (White or colored board--$7.00). If specialty materials need to be ordered please contact me for further information on ordering supplies.
- January 7th-10th—Library & Computer lab research (minimum of 2 book sources are needed)
- January 9th—Hypothesis and purpose due
- January 10th --First journal entry due (4-5 sentence minimum)
- January 13-15th--Library & Computer lab research (minimum of 3 internet sources are needed)
- January 17th----Second journal entry due (4-5 sentence minimum)
- January 24th---Third journal entry due (4-5 sentence minimum)
- January 27th-- Begin working on rough drafts.
- January 31st--- Rough draft of --hypothesis, purpose, procedures, and research due
- February 7th— Rough draft of abstract, data, results, conclusion, and references/bibliography due.
- February 10--14th-- Begin working on poster boards at home/school.
- February 18th—21st— Bring in poster board and work to finish up in class.Final revisions on rough drafts due.
- February 24th-- Poster boards due & classroom presentations begin.Science fair journal due.
- March ??? –Academic fair in small gym, student presence required.
